Susan Denise Harris, 57, of Amarillo, TX passed away on August 18, 2020.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 21, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be officiated by David House. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Susan Harris was born in Hartwell, GA on January 25, 1963. She graduated from Hart County High in 1980.

Susan was married to Mike Harris on December 27, 1980. They were married for 39 years.

Susan worked as a homemaker where she devoted her life to her family. She also enjoyed raising horses as well as American Bulldogs.

Susan Harris is survived by husband Mike Harris, daughter Brandy Wagaman and her husband JD Wagaman, son Grant Harris and wife Brittany Harris. Grandchildren- Addisyn and Emersyn Wagaman, Cope, Kennedy and Paisley Harris. Mother Sue Walls, sister Tina O’Tuel, and nephews Bradley and Aaron O’Tuel of Hartwell Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father JP Walls, maternal grandparents George and Fannie Walters, and maternal Aunt Joyce Walters of Hartwell, Georgia.

The family wishes to thank family and friends for their prayers and kindness.

  2. Sorry for your loss Mike. I have had you , your family and especially your wife in my prayers for awhile. I’m glad you got to spend time with her these last few months. It will take time to heal the heart. Enjoy the memories though it will be hard to let go. Just remember you have your family and friends to lean on when you need to talk. Don’t forget your work family , as we share your grief. We will be there to support you when we are needed.

  4. I was so saddened to hear this news. Ms. Susan was a beautiful person inside and out! As the mother of one of my childhood best friends, she welcomed me into her home often and treated me so kindly always. Sending love and sympathy and keeping you all in my prayers.
