Janice May Littlehales

Janice May Littlehales, 64, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, May 4, 2019. 

Services will be held a 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Redeemer Christian Church with David Richie and Gary Wilcox officiating.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Janice was born on June 13, 1954 in Amarillo to Bobby and Betty Staton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Parker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Henry Littlehales; her daughter, Julie Wilson and husband Brad; and two grandchildren, Joseph Ynojosa and Joie Parker.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 50610, Amarillo, Texas 79159.

  1. Julie, your granddad Bobby was my first cousin, more like a brother to me as Mama Bea and Oscar took care of me so often. I babysat for your mother and Debra quite often. Jan was a sweet kind child and she never changed. She was as generous and thoughtful as her lovely parents. May you continue their legacy.

  3. I love you so much Jan you are the best 2nd grandma I could ever have. I’m going to miss you so much and going to Kabuki and Hobby Lobby with you. I remember you always wearing your flip flops.   4. Prayers for Jan’s family…she was so special and one of my first friends when my family moved to Amarillo. Her mother Betty would pick me up every Sunday for Sunday School and Church. Precious memories of Jan and her sweet family.

  7. Julie, we knew your Mom for many, many years; in fact, she was in elementary school when we first met at Pleasant Valley Christian Church. It has been fun watching her grow and mature throughout her life. She was indeed a very special, loving person. May God’s love surround you with a peace-that-passeth all understanding. Know that you are loved.

  12. So sorry to here Jan passed, it was quite a surprise. We knew nothing prior she was ailing. If there is anything we can do as your neighbor, please, please advise. May the good Lord bless her and lift her up into everlasting life.
