Glen Evens Hall – December 23, 2011

Glen Evens Hall, 56, of Amarillo, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Brandon Slay and Lowell Hall officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
The sun rose on June 30, 1955 in Memphis, Texas for Glen Evens Hall and the sun set on Dec. 23, 2011 in Amarillo, Texas.
Glen loved working with his hands in woodworking, carving, taxidermy and painting.  He had a way to bring things to life no matter what he was working on.  He was a member of the Golden Spread Wood Carving Club of Amarillo.
Glen was preceded in the passing of his parents Jewell E. (Glen) Hall and Florence Topsy Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy Slay Hall; his son, Clint Hall and wife Camellia of Canyon, Texas; a brother, Jerry Hall and his two sons, Sergei Hall and Florin Nita of Temple, Texas; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Slay; a sister-in-law, Linda Cox; a brother-in-law, Doug Slay and his wife Donna, all of Amarillo, Texas; a nephew, Brandon Slay and his wife Christina and; great-niece Sydney, all of Colorado, Springs Co.; and many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A very special thanks to all our friends, nurses, doctors and volunteers at BSA Hospital, Harrington Cancer Center and BSA Hospice for their care and compassion.
