Bruce Milbern, 73, of Dumas, died August 3, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Troy Scroggins officiating.  Military rites will be by American Legion Post #224. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Bruce was born on December 30, 1946 in Pryor, Ok. to Clarence and Thelma Milbern.  He served in the U.S. Navy for two terms during Vietnam.  He worked for Diamond Shamrock for over 20 years until retirement.  He was a member of the Dumas Noon Lions Club, American Legion Post #224, and the V.F.W.

He married Linda Milbern on July 31, 1968 in Dumas.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kristina; and a son, William.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Milbern of Dumas; a daughter, Robin Grice and husband Tracey of Dumas; a son, Jarrod Milbern and wife Pamela of Amarillo; a daughter, Rusti Hacker and husband Jeff of Amarillo; two brothers, David Milbern and wife Kay of Canyon and Stacy Milbern and wife Carla of Dumas; eight grandchildren, Paige, Garrett, Zacchary, Samantha, Sydney, Cayden, Brock, and Caitlin; and three great-grandchildren, Annabel, Kyla, and Atreus.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August, 6, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Dumas Noon Lions Club, Box 416, Dumas, Texas  79029 or the American Legion Post #224, Box 1176, Dumas, Texas 79029.

    Little buddy you are going to be greatly missed.
    We will never forget the good times you spent helping with the many Lions Club activities you were involved in.
    Until we shall once again meet, goodbye my friend, may you R.I.P.

  4. Bruce was a real sweetheart! He would do anything to help you do anything you asked him to do. He was a real Lion and enjoyed Club to the fullest extent. He told me he was glad I convinced him to join Lions, he enjoyed helping people his favorite thing was the coat and shoe thing the Lions do for Boys Ranch and Girls Town. He loved selling tickets for the car give away. He just had a ball. I loved him like a brother and I loved his Mother.
