Arthur Ybarra, 53, of Amarillo, TX died August 2, 2020.
 
Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 6, 2020, at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
 
Arthur was born on February 16, 1967 in Dimmitt, TX to Eleno and Cruz Ybarra. He graduated high school in Hereford, TX in 1985. He worked hard as an account manager at Border States Electric. He enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. In addition to being a sports fan, Arthur also loved attending concerts, and going on vacations with family.
 
He was preceded in death by his father Eleno Ybarra.
 
Arthur is survived by his wife, Susie Ybarra; children, Salina Suarez, Ronnie Ybarra and wife Sonja; mother, Cruz Ybarra; brothers, Sammy Ybarra, and John Paul Ybarra and wife Maggie; grandchildren, Celeste Mendoza, Sean Ybarra, Adrian Mendoza, Alex Mendoza, Jason Ybarra, Adam Mendoza, Destiny Ybarra, and Mia Ybarra.

  2. Our very special sweet cousin, Turi. We love you very much and we will miss you very much. May God help his immediate family and all of us get through this difficult time in our lives because his presence will missed by all of us in our own special way. Our hearts are broken beyond words.   6. Arthur was a good man and very well respected in the electrical supply trade among his peers and customers alike. He helped teach me parts and to better understand customer needs and asks while I was working the counter area. I’ll always remember talking baseball and rock concerts with him. He will be missed. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. We lost a truly good man. Rest well, sir.

    My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. I worked with Arthur for a little over 2 years and he soon became one of my favorite people. He will be missed by so many! He always came to work with a smile and determination and talked about his family all the time. He was such an incredible man and he will be missed dearly.

I had known him for 35 years when he first went to work for Nunn Electric. As years passed, he ended up calling on us at Vitel Communications. Susie, he talked of you and his family often, he loved you all so much. May he rest in peace.

  21. My heart is broken to hear about the passing of Arthur. He will be greatly missed to his family, friend and vendors. I pray God wraps his arms around Suzy and the family during this time and the days ahead….. We always looked forward the day that Arthur would stop by McCracken Electric, I will miss our visits and hearing about the concert he just attended or trip he had taken… Rest in peace.
