Allison “Elaine” Sullivan, 61, of Amarillo, TX, passed away August 1, 2020.

Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Elaine was born in Amarillo on November 10, 1958, to Mildred and Richard Gill.

Elaine married Bill Sullivan in Amarillo on April 1,1977. They were married for 43 years.

Elaine’s favorite activities were softball, bowling, and trips to Las Vegas to hit the Keno machine. She was known by many of the slot attendants at her favorite places, Vegas Club and Main Street Station. In 2016, she surprised Bill with tickets to an AC/DC concert at the MGM and described it as the “Best. Concert. Ever!”

Elaine was a big dog lover and will leave behind sweet Patches and Riley. Fred, Boz, Tisha, Biscuit and Zeus welcome her upstairs with kisses and wagging tails.

Elaine loved being a grandma, “Grams,” to sweet Corlen, Channing and Chaden. Her grandkids brought the biggest smile to her face. Elaine had a special friendship with her sister, Kathy, with whom she could share anything.

Survivors include her husband Bill Sullivan; two sons Eric Sullivan, Chad Sullivan and wife Chauna; brother Rex Gill; two sisters Kathy Colburn and Debby Ponder; grandkids Chaden, Channing and Corlen; and many other loved extended family. Special friends include Uncle Charlie Wheeler and son-from-another-mother Josh Macon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Chloe’s Canines Dog Sanctuary through PayPal.
