Quinten Lee “Hoot” Seaman, 76, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Comanche Trail Church of Christ Chapel with Loran Harper, minister, officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, in Waynoka Cemetery in Waynoka, Okla., with Bill David Walker, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Quinten was born June 30, 1935, in Avard, Okla., to Arthur and Sylvia Duly Seaman. He married Nadene Bay on April 7, 1959, in Alva, Okla.
Quinten worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 21 years, where he was a conductor. He was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Nadene Seaman; three daughters, Debra Crosley and husband Alan of Amarillo, Donna Childress and husband Draton of Wheeler and Denise Patrick of Campo, Colo.; two sons, Faron Seaman of Amarillo and Ferlin Seaman and wife Susi of Bushland; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
