Nick did some work for me on a pond. He did a fine job and he was a pleasure to be around. I’m glad I had the opportunity to know him and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May you find comfort and peace through God’s love.

Mr. and Mrs. Rogers and family,
I was so saddened to read of Nick’s untimely passing. I had the extreme pleasure of coaching Nick as a defensive end in football. He was just a joy and a bright spot every day. He was kind enough to get me a gift with a nice inscription on it. I have valued it many years, and now even more so. May you be comforted by the Good Lord in this sad time.
    Sincerely,
    Don E. Williams

He wanted me to tell you that he loves you both. He is so very sad for you all and for loosing Nick. May peace be with you.
