I had the honor and privilege to have Mrs. Woods as my math teacher for several years as well as one year of Spanish at Hartley High School. She was one of my all time favorite teachers. She was loved by all at the school. A very special and sweet lady.
May God bless and comfort you during this difficult time!

Mrs. Woods taught me during the 1960’s at Hartley. She was so special to me. She made even the most difficult math easy by explaining it to us clearly. She was so kind and compassionate – sweet to be with, her loving smile was so special. We loved her then and love her still. There are two teachers that are often mentioned by students from Hartley and she is one of them – Mrs. Hall the other. They were the bedrock of the school in those years. So thankful for those memories, and hope each of you have sweet memories also.

Mrs. Woods was one of my favorite teachers in High School. She is one of the main reasons I graduated. When I struggled in Math she would take the time every morning to Tutor me to make sure I passed the teams test so I could graduate. Thanks to her believing in me and working with me, I graduated High School and went on to graduate from college. I will always remember her for that. She was awesome!
