Kay Karen Chattin, 81, of Amarillo died Sunday, October 7, 2018.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Kay was born August 2, 1937, in Mangum, Oklahoma to Maximillian and Ima Kurten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Chattin; a son, Steve Chattin; and a brother, Pat Kurten.
Survivors include a son, Matt Chattin and wife Linda, of Amarillo; daughter-in-law, Shelly Chattin, of Haltom City, TX; grandchildren, Tyler Chattin, of Amarillo, Dr. Taylor Chattin and wife Amanda, of Lubbock, Archer Chattin, of Ft. Worth, and Lauren Chattin, of Amarillo.
The family would like to thank BSA Hospice of the Southwest for the wonderful care given.
The family suggests memorials to Patriot Paws at www.patriotpaws.org which trains dogs for veterans who suffer from PTSD.
