Jules Patrick Moore – March 18, 2018

Jules Patrick Moore, 11, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Amarillo Fellowship Church with Richie Brown, II officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Jules was born December 21, 2006, in Amarillo to Gaylon Patrick Moore and Amanda Moore. He attended Windsor Elementary School.

There are no words to describe Jules, but if we were to choose a few, they would be vibrant, charismatic, prideful, hilarious, all knowing, goofy, intellectual, loving, and unforgettable to anyone who had the opportunity to meet him. His mind was so creative that it has been said that “he makes his own box.” His personality was larger than life. Jules was a wise little man of many words and talents. If only given more time, he was destined to change the world.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylon Patrick Moore.

He is survived by his mom, Amanda Moore; a sister, Hannah Moore; a brother, Jacob Burton; his grandparents, Sterling and Robbie Beckner, Ron and Linda Jones, Ella and Ken Whitley; six great-grandparents; and a large, loving family that expands all over the globe.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the funeral home.

Beautifuly written and accurate. He was such a stongwilled vibrant independent wacky guy. His uniqueness left its impression on everyone who knew him & everyone who knew him loved him. We, who’ve lost him, will not forget the joy and love he brought into our hearts and lives.

Thinking of the whole family during this time. Just like his dad, Jules had every gift but length of years. I will remember them both always. So very sorry.

“Please allow me to offer my sympathy to your family during this difficult time, the loss of a child brings feelings of pain and emptiness I am all too familiar with. By meditating on the hope in God’s Word i gained comfort for my broken heart. Passages such as, Psalm 94:19, Acts 24:15, and Revelation 21:4, all helped me to cope. I pray you then lean on God and His Word for strength, He understands, He lost a son once too.”

Precious friends, my heart aches for you as you bear this most difficult loss. I take comfort in knowing your strength as a family and in the love and steadfastness of our Savior. I know He has embraced sweet Jules.
