Jimmy Wayne Crawford, 79, of Amarillo died Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Jim Fox officiating. Masonic Rites are by San Jacinto Masonic Lodge #1330. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Military Rites are by DAV Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Jimmy was born April 17, 1933, in Amarillo to Richard Silas and Bertha Moore Crawford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Jimmy was self-employed and worked for Baker Taylor in Spearman. He owned Uniforms Plus in Amarillo. He was a member of the San Jacinto Masonic Lodge #1330.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Crawford; and a son, Jimmy Crawford Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Russell and Kay Patterson and husband Joey, all of Amarillo, and Kim Williams and husband Danny of Bushland; a sister, Bea Hanisch of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
