JimAda Hill Dunn – October 11

JimAda Hill Dunn, 90, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at St. Stephen United Methodist Church with Kendall Meeks officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
JimAda was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Erick, Okla. to Raymond and Hazel Staton.  She was a member of Covenant Fellowship.  JimAda loved to play Bingo. She kept children in her home for 20 years.  She was a member of a line-dancing club for a number of years.  Because she and her husband raised rabbits she was lovingly referred to as Rabbit Grandma by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Edward Hill; a son, Jimmy Hill; and her second husband, Charles Dunn.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Hill and wife Jean Ann; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

    Grandma JimAda was an amazing woman. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers for all the family.

    I am sorry for your loss. Jim Ada was a a longtime friend from San Jacinto United Methodist Chirch. She was also a customer at the bank for many years.
