Jan and I became close friends when we went to Amarillo College. When things were tough she would make me laugh. I know how much she loved her family. She would show me pictures each time we visited. I don’t know why we have to lose those we love so young Psalm 18 KJV says “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” May God’s Word give you comfort.

So sad to hear about Jan. I had the pleasure of going to nursing school with her, going to WT with her, working with her, and getting to know her whole family. She was smart, fun, vivacious, beautiful, and most of all, loved her family! My heart goes out to Keith and the kids.

Keith & family, I can’t express the sadness in lmy heart that I feel since Jan left us. We had always been good friends since starting to Forest Hill Elementary School on up to PDHS! Jan was a wonderful friend of mine who I will never forget! We were going to go to our 1963 55th Class Reunion Oct. 5 & 6, 2018 until she told me she was having trouble breathing & didn’t feel good enough to go. She was so strong & just kept going & going even though she didn’t really feel like it. We all loved hearing her stories about all of her wonderful family. She loved each one of you & was so proud of you all! There is great comfort to me in knowing the Lord has given her a new body & she is no longer in pain. We all will miss her tremendously! I pray that God will wrap each one of you in His loving arms & you will feel the comfort that only God can give you. I loved her so much. Love, Jo Ellen
