Godfather, you were the BEST!! Your liveliness and enthusiasm touched me as a child, and you were such a masterful educator. Thank you for this. I don’t know of anyone who innately was a better educator than you and had so much while doing so! (It’s why I’m a teacher today!)

Betty, much love to you. You are a wonderful Godmother to us, and a great educator as well! My love is with you, and I hold you in my heart in the days that pass and beyond. You are always in my thoughts.

When I was growing up in Childress, Gene, Dean and Howard all worked at United. My mother would send me to that grocery store countless times a day. Those guys always jokingly gave me a hard time for being in there so often. Fond memories of all!
