Bettye Jean Rich Clark – February 4, 2018

Bettye Jean Rich Clark, 93, of Amarillo passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, surrounded by many who love her and will miss her.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on  Friday, February 9, 2018, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Bettye was born on January 7, 1925, to Evelyn and William Rich.
Bettye lived a long and wonderful life.  She was a bookkeeper and office manager in various businesses such as Economy Motors in Amarillo during the 50s and 60s.  She married Bobbie Clark on March 12, 1966, and together they owned Car City until her retirement.
Bettye loved to dance.  She was a dance teacher and she and Bobbie belonged to dance organizations such as Top Hatters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Clark; her parents; her sister, Idabel Edwards; her brother, William (Billy) Rich; her son, Lester J. Tomlinson; and a grandson, Brian Lair.
She is survived by her son, David Tomlinson of Gruver; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Debbie Clark, of Amarillo; daughter and son-in-law Marshi and Greg Lair, of Canyon; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
