Wanda Lee Messer

Wanda Lee Messer, 76, of Amarillo, TX died July 4, 2019.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at First Family Church, 6101 Bell St., with Jeff Messer and Rev. Daniel Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Wanda was born on January 23, 1943 in Amarillo to Floyd and Pearl Franks. She married Tommy C. on April 16, 1960. Wanda was the secretary and treasurer at Harvest Time P.C.G.

She is preceded in death by her son, Tommy Carrol Messer, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy C., of Amarillo, TX; her daughters, Elaine Graham and husband J., of Pearland, TX, and Denise Messer, of Amarillo, TX; sons, DeWayne Messer, of Denton, TX, Samuel Messer and wife Barbara, of Jefferson, AR, and Curtis Messer, of Amarillo, TX; sister, Joan Messer, of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Zack Graham, Crystal Byrd, Brandon Graham, and Presley Messer; and two great-grandchildren, Dakota Graham and Emma Byrd.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 6:30 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2019, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

    We send our love and prayers in this most difficult time. Even though we know she is now with Jesus and family we still miss her. It won’t be long and we will all be there too! So until then we keep pressing on keeping our eyes looking up.
