On Monday September 30th, Tera Turpin, loving wife and mother of two, passed away at the age of 46 in Rogers, AR.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega, TX with Pastor Murphy of the VA Hospital officiating.

Tera was born on August 13, 1973 in Brookfield, MO to Rick and Kathrine (Meyers) Rawlins.  Tera has a passion for knowledge and helping everyone that she could. She combined these two and spent most of her life in the medical field as a nurses-aid. She was very versatile as she could do everything from incredible artistry, to waterproofing a basement, to landscaping a garden.  She was known for her vibrant and contagious smile and her endless talks on the phone.

She is survived by her parents, Rick and Kathrine Rawlins of Dolan Springs, AZ; husband Samuel Turpin of the home; son, Cameron Thomas and wife Kori of Stillwater, OK; son, Austin Thomas of Magee, MS; brother, Nathan Rawlins of Dolan Springs, AZ; two grandchildren, Kordon Thomas, 5, and one expected in March 2020; and an over-abundance of friends and family.

  1. I didn’t know Tera that long. But in the length of time I did get to spend with her. She became a dear friend and almost like a sister to me. I will miss her so much. And I was blessed to have know her.

  2. I’m going to miss her so much! She was a wonderful mother, friend, and aunt. I couldn’t ask for a better friend/ family member. Love you to the moon and back!!

  3. What a beautiful summary of Tera. She has been a very close friend for iver 25 years. We spent many days together just laughing and trying to figure out how to live life to the fullest to make our children proud. She will be missed dearly but the memories I will hold close. Love You Tera, go fly with the angels!
