Tammala Lee Arnold

Tammala Lee Arnold, 52, of Dumas, died on Monday, December 23, 2019.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at First Christian Church with Rev. Darrell Wait, pastor, officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Tammala was born on May 3, 1967 in Aurora, Ohio to Frank and Bertha Hagerty.  After graduating high school, she then graduated from the police academy as valedictorian.  She had worked as a police officer for many years in Dumas, Sunray, and Cactus.  She had owned and operated Just Cuz Thrift Store and the Panhandle Pioneer Pawn Shop in Guymon.  She was always happy to help others.

She married Michael Arnold on August 8, 2001 in Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jonathan Peoples.

Tammala is survived by her husband, Michael Arnold of Dumas; three daughters, Dezaray Wages of Dumas, Kayleen Arnold and Kalub Jones of Canyon, Alexandria Sikham and husband Tony of Dumas; two sons, Phillip Peoples and wife Nikki of Amarillo, Tanner Arnold of Canyon; a brother, Patrick Hagerty; and three sisters, Brenda Koster, Allison Schwab, Susan Jones; and thirteen grandchildren.

  4. Tammala, beautiful, sweet, amazing, loving angel!! You left us in such a rush, in such a rush that left us spinning in circles just the way you did while here on earth!! So many lives you have touched not even knowing it truthfully! Tammala, you’ve touched my life and my kids life so much it’s beyond belief!! I love you sweet lady! Spread those beautiful wings and keep that contagious smile bright in heaven!!!!

  5. I knew Tamala for small part of her life but she had a way of making you feel like family. I will miss you very much. Heaven has a new angel.
