  1. Our family absolutely loves “Mr. Steve” and his family! He was as genuine a person as you could ever hope to meet. He was always quick to ask about your family and cared about others. I loved his laugh and kindness. I’ll never forget seeing him hold the front door of the school open daily for each and every student as they arrived and his kindness in wishing them a good day….he will be dearly missed but will always be apart of our community and school. We love you Mr. Steve!

  5. I’m heartbroken for Cindy, Sarah, Amber, Heath, Mark, and all those who loved Steve dearly. I was one of the lucky ones who got to spend time with him at Vega High School. Some of his classmates and I had a group call last night reminiscing over the fun times and fond memories we all shared during our high school years. I will always cherish those precious times and remember Steve as a kind, gentle, fun-loving guy with a heart of gold…. and maybe Boones Farm wine! ❤️ Hugs and love to you all.

  7. Some people are here to make our lives brighter. That describes my uncle,. I was one of his “Pal’s” maybe the first? We grew up together. . He always looked out for me when we were younger. . I was ring bearer at age of 6 at his and Aunt Cindy’s wedding. We spent about 10 or more summers working together and during school breaks. He was my first best friend.
