Roddie Ruth Bowers Eubanks – March 1, 2011

Roddie Ruth Bowers Eubanks, 83, formerly of Amarillo died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ. 
 Services will be Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church Chapel with Rev. Barry Loving, senior pastor, officiating.  The burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
 Roddie was born January 1, 1928 in Amarillo, TX to Roddie Roy Rowell and Grace Lou Johnson Rowell.  She married Robert Eugene Bowers and later Orville “Ray” Eubanks.  She spent her working life in the banking business in El Paso and Amarillo.  She was a member of the First Christian Church.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, both her husbands, a son Robert Mark and daughter Lynette Ruth Bowers Lovett and a brother PFC. David Rowell who died in combat in Vietnam and a brother-in- law, Roger McAninch. 
Survivors are her son, Brian Bowers and wife Susan of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren, Zach, Bailey, Will and Marcus; a step granddaughter, Charolette and step daughter Karen Eubanks; a brother, Don Rowell; and four sisters, Naomi Turpin and husband Joe, Becky Hersom and husband Danny, both of Amarillo, Ann DiTommaso and husband John of Jackson, WY and Mary Frances McAninch of Williamsburg, OH; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
