Robert Landon Carroll age 52 of Amarillo, TX, passed on April 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Jay Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Robert was born on July 7, 1968 in Memphis, Texas to Bobby Carroll and Chris Corbet.

Robby enjoyed spending time with his family. Other hobbies included (candid) photography and videography. He was a big-time movie buff enjoying movies in the action, fiction and superhero genres.   Along with his love for music he loved to groove and dance. He was proud that he was able to show off his talents as a DJ at FM90.  He was considered the family historian and told many secrets and stories. He loved trying new restaurants and experiences such as ziplining. However the thing he was most proud of was anything and everything his wife and children did.

He was preceded in death by… Grandparents Lester and Martha Campbell, Leonard and Clara Carroll; Father, Bobby Carroll; Brother-in-law, Steven Jones.

Survivors include…Wife, Angela Carroll of Amarillo; Daughters, Brittany Carroll of Olathe KS; Misti and Andrew Runcie of Amarillo; Mother Chris and Johnnie Corbet of Amarillo; Bonus Mother Sue Carroll of Manhattan KS; Brother Jason Carroll and Jennifer of Amarillo; Sisters Lauri Smith and Jeff of Amarillo, Sarah and Ulises Valdovinos of Irvine CA; Nieces and Nephews, Casey, Kambri, Jade, Cameron, Straton, Cassidy and Benjamin. As well as many extended family members.

  2. I had the privilege of going to school with Robby from kindergarten through graduation in Memphis. Robby was very kind and all around great guy. Rest In Peace Robby . To Robby’s family I’m very sorry for your loss.
