Robert "Kyle" Roach-June 19, 2011

Robert “Kyle” Roach, 59, of Amarillo entered his heavenly home on Sunday, June 19, 2011.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Kingswood United Methodist Church with Reverend Terry Tamplen, Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Odessa and Reverend Jim Guest, Pastor of Westover Fellowship Church, both of officiating.  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Kyle was born on September 3, 1951 in Pittsburg, Texas to J Nelson and Betty Roach.  He married Cari Gresham on November 4, 1983 in Raton, New Mexico.  He had been involved with several churches, teaching youth Sunday school and discipling young couples.  Kyle was a real prayer warrior and was also involved in a homeless ministry for eighteen years.  He loved to share the love of Jesus with people unconditionally.  He attended all of his daughter, Kyla’s events, never missing a single one until he became ill.  She was the apple of his eye.
Survivors include his wife Cari Roach of the home; a daughter, Kyla Roach and fiancé Marshall Hoybook of Amarillo; a brother, Daryl Roach and wife Wendy of Amarillo; two special nephews, Greg Gresham of Amarillo and Jeff Gresham of Memphis, TX; his parents-in-law, Jim and Rosemary Gresham of Fritch and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sue Nadesan and the staff at Harrington Cancer Center and Hospice Care of the Southwest.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
