Richard Anderson Butler, III, 45, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021, at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Rick was born May 28, 1975, in Amarillo, TX to Darlene and Richard Butler II. He enjoyed playing the bass guitar, supporting his nephew, Trey’s band, games, and being with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Gary Green.
Survivors include a daughter, Peyton Ruth Butler, of Abilene, TX; a son, Andy Michael McGowan, of Amarillo, TX; father, Richard Butler, II, of Amarillo, TX; brother, Larry Donovan Green, of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Connie Butler, of Amarillo, TX; sister-in-law, Wendy Green, of Amarillo, TX; nephews, Trey Green and Landry Green, of Amarillo, TX; and niece, Codi Green.

Rick always made people laugh. He was always there to help everyone if you needed him. He is resting in paradise. See you on the other side.

Rick worked as a Certified Miner for several years. He enjoyed riding ATV’s at the River. He often helped friends and neighbors in need. Rick was an excellent cook and grill master. His Dad was his best friend and champion. May his soul be at peace.
