Ralph Lee Schultz Jr., 97, of Amarillo, died Saturday, February 9, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Military rites will be by Volleys for Veterans. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Ralph was born on September 17, 1921 to Ralph Schultz Sr. and Pearl Schultz in Hewins, Kansas. He graduated from Colton High school in California in 1940. He then served for three and half years in the U.S. Airforce. He was employed by Baker Shoestore from December 1946 to September 1984 and retired and after 38 years. He was married to Norma Coulson Schultz for 69 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Coulson Schultz on April 13, 2012 and his parents, a brother, a sister, and a son-in-law.
He is survived by three daughters, Judy Palmer and husband Darrell, Sherry Stacker, Patty Durst and husband Randy; grandchildren, Lisa Arrasmith and husband Mark, Kimberly Garcia and husband George, Paige Pratt and husband Kyle, Andrea Pirkle and husband Kris, Todd Eades, Matthew Eades and wife Kaysha; great-grandchildren, Casey Clark and wife Mercedes, McKenzie Pfister and husband Kevin, Christopher Arrasmith, Kathryn Arrasmith, Tayler Warren and husband Colton, Gentry Pratt, Kyler Pratt, Kanen Pirkle, Kennedy Pirkle, Addisen Pirkle, Emma Eades, Kylen Eades, Brynzli Eades, Taylee Eades, and Ayven Jo Eades; great-great grandchildren, Cori Pfister, Bentley Pfister, Cali Pfister, Brynzli Pfister, and Kameron Warren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
