Rafael Torres Loya – July 8, 2011

Rafael Torres Loya, 60, of Dumas, died Friday, July 8th, 2011.  A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 10th, 2011 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox.  Funeral Mass will be held at11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 11th, 2011 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Joseph Papayah officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 13th, at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
Rafael was born on March 30th, 1951, in Meadow, Texas to Hilario and Victoria Loya.  He served in the U.S. Army as P.F.C. in Seoul, Korea for 3 years; he was a graduate of Dumas High School in 1971, he attended welding school and worked for Phillips 66 as well as Continental Carbon.
Rafael is survived by his parents, Hilario and Victoria Loya, of Dumas, 5 Sisters, Mary and Art Bernal, of Dumas, Lydia Flores of Dallas, Trini Flores of Dumas, Amanda and Pedro Castillo of Dallas, Shannon and Rudy Pena of Dumas, 10 Nephews, 5 nieces, as well as several great- nieces and great- nephews.
The family will be at 611 Beard, Dumas, Texas
