Paula Braswell, 69, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Services will be at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Jerry Davey officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Paula was born April 6, 1951, in Amarillo, TX to Ernest and Tommie Brown. She attended Palo Duro High School. Paula loved her family and enjoyed gambling and shopping. She was a really generous and giving person.
She married Jim Braswell on April 3, 1971, in Clovis, NM. Together they owned and operated Professional Sand Blasting & Coating. They built the company from the ground up in 1974 and turned into the thriving business it is today due to their kind and honest nature.
Paula was a loving mother, daughter, and grandma. She will be missed very much.
Her husband, Jim, and her sister, Linda Jones preceded her in death.
Survivors two sons, Mickey Braswell, and David Jones and wife Jennifer, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Mindy Wilson and husband Lathan of Amarillo; her mother, Tommie Brown of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Cody, Destiny, Charles, Kayla, Ashley and Casey; three great-grandchildren, E.J., Ariel and Paisley; and several nieces and nephews.
