Pat Coldiron, 73, of Amarillo, TX, passed on to Heaven on Sunday, January 3, 2021.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, with Pastor Mark Elvers officiating. Burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Born in 1947 to James Clark and Joyce Ryan in Dallas, TX, Pat grew up and lived most of her life in Amarillo, TX and attended Amarillo High School. She also lived in Corpus Christi, Lubbock, and Plano, TX.
She married David Earl Coldiron in 1965, and together they raised four sons and one daughter. Fulfilling her lifelong calling, she pursued her nursing degree at Amarillo College while being a proud mother to five and had a successful career. She served as a pediatric nurse at BSA Hospital, private practices, and as a school nurse.
Pat lived as an example of faith in Christ, and in service to God. She supported many charities, enjoyed butterflies, traveling, nursing, fostering/hosting, entertaining, and playing games with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dave Coldiron; father, James Clark; mother, Joyce Coldiron; sister, Charlotte Clark; mother-in-law, Georgia Coleman Porter; and father-in-law, Dallas Coldiron.
She is survived by her half-brother, Don Clark and wife Julie; sons, K. David and wife Ashley, Todd and wife Alisa, Doug, and Ryan and wife Mary; daughter, Jana Coldiron-McCaughan; brother-in-law, Ron and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Ashley, Stanton, Brison, Kourtney, Payton, Ashley, Emily, Kabel, Brent, Jillian, Caiden, Maya, and Lucas; great-grandson, Rhyder; nieces, Amber and Allyson; as well as many other extended family and loved ones.
