  3. Edgar, Ruth, and Patsy were such a big part of my life in Dumas –good friends for many years to my folks, Herman and Alice Ochs. I was looking at a scrapbook last week and had pictures from my Rainbow Installation. Edgar and Ruth were my Rainbow Mom and Dad and Patsy was dressed in her long formal with those beautiful ringlets. I remember one time when my husband and I were waiting to get on the elevator at UAMS in Little Rock (my husband also had MM) and Patsy and Sam were getting off the elevator — just like old home week. They are together again and rejoicing with many in heaven. You’re in my thoughts and prayers!!!!

  6. What a beautiful of Patsy – thank you for sharing it. It brought back many memories of sharing our boys’ growing up days! One day fondly remembered was flying kites at their ranch, accidentally letting go of the string, and watching the “eagle” fly off into the wind. It was a beautiful day! I’m sure her precious Sam will be welcoming her. It was a pleasure knowing them both as good neighbors and “across the street” friends.

  14. Never a sweeter or more fun woman was born. Go with God, Patsy. Lifting the family, asking God’s comfort and peace as you mourn Patsy’s death, and prepare to celebrate her beautiful life.

  15. Patsy was a year older than me and the same age as my oldest sister, Carolyn. My sister was a twirler also and Patsy was the gold standard for this skill. I believe she was allowed to be a fire twirler in High School. That is a lost art in the snow flake generations but was impressive to watch. My God bless her family and give them comfort and peace knowing the goodness that surrounds her now.

  16. Patsy was a life-long friend. She was beautiful, kind, and smart and treated everyone the same. I will miss her greatly.

  17. Patsy was truly my “Sister”! I will miss everything about her forever! We were the truest example of a friendship that deepened even though we never lived closer than 300 miles! We shared everything! She was my confidante and my children’s Aunt, and we will always miss her but cherish our memories and give thanks for having her in our lives! Our love and prayers will continue for her sons and their families!

  18. I also remember that precious, little flower-girl as I was maid-of-honor to my sister in the same-wedding. I always loved and adored that whole-family. I remember when Patsy and I were helping our-mother’s prepare for an old-fashioned dinner of the Fidelis Sunday School class at the First Methodist Church in Dumas. Patsy didn’t understand why they wanted the silverware turned upside-down as apparently was the old-fashioned way. Patsy proceeded to ask her mother “Did they even-have silverware when you were a little-girl?” Oh my, from the mouths of babes. I just was so-shocked when I saw the obituary. Grieve-as-you must, not-as-others will tell you is right, wrong or indifferent. Travel the individual-pathway God has for each as there are no-pathways, only individual pathway. You are now the oldest-generation to take the reins and go forward. Cling tightly to our Lord’s unchanging and unfailing hand, He will never leave or forsake you. He will even carry you when the road is too-hard.

  19. 64 plus years ago Patsy was in a wedding for Betty and Bobbie Spencer as a beautiful, cutie flower girl, she became a beautiful young lady who loved people, a friend to all. Condolences to the family, now she is with those she loved walking the golden streets. God Bless to all,
