Pamela Kay Raymond of Amarillo Texas was 66 years old when she went to be with the Lord on May 1st, 2020.
She was born at Bergstrom Airforce base outside of Austin, Texas on October 22nd 1953. She married Rick Raymond on March 3rd 1972 at Cliffside Baptist church in Cliffside Texas.
She went to be with the Lord while in the loving care of BSA hospice.
She was raised in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1971.
Her working career spans from being a waitress at the Old English airfield, Sears and then Levi Straus. She was also a duty assistant at Alice Landergin Elementary and finally a secretary and book keeper.
She was an avid reader and coin collector. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She made the best strawberry jam which was award winning in her family’s opinion.
She loved crossword puzzles, reading magazines, and shopping to find the best deals. Garage sales and thrift stores were a must.
She is survived by her husband Rick Raymond and their three children Matthew Raymond, Jeremy Raymond his wife Heather, and Rebecca Thomas and husband Chad. Her four siblings Bobby Moore, Mike Moore his wife Jackie, Debbie Durham her husband Tom and Penny Johnson and her husband Jeff all of Amarillo, Texas and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Larois Moore and Hubert Edward Moore.
She was a beloved Nana to ten grandchildren Autumn Raymond, Maddison Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Catelyn Thomas, Emily Raymond, Shelby Thomas, Lainey Thomas, Sadie Raymond, Courtney Scott Thomas and Wyatt Tully,
She had two loving puppies Ladybug and Maggie May who mean the world to her. Her passing left a void that only God can fill.
She will be greatly missed and always loved.

  5. Pam was always such a kind, loving soul. Her laugh and kindness is something I will never forget as I was a very tentative church goer. I loved that infectious smile and laugh. Rick, you as well were always so kind! If you need anything please allow me to know!
