Norma W. Loewenstern-October 30, 2011

Norma W. Loewenstern, 93, died Sunday, October 30, 2011.
A private burial will be held at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Norma was born February 1st, 1918 in Fort Logan Colorado to Alice Gambrel Wright and Edward George Wright.  She married Morris Hugo Loewenstern on July 14th, 1940 in Denver, Colorado.
She had three daughters, Julie Kay Levy, Linda Jo Reid, and Marci Lee Ellison which they raised in Amarillo.  In July 1995, she suffered the loss of her daughter, Linda, to Breast Cancer.
Norma was a homemaker and loving wife until Morris passed away in September 2007.  She dedicated her life to enriching the lives of her family.  Mostly she loved her grandchildren who all carry the memories of the meals she served and her unforgettable laugh! She has since resided in a nursing home in Santa Fe, New Mexico near her daughter, Marci.
She is survived by daughters Julie Levy of Carpinteria, California and Marci Ellison of Pecos, New Mexico;  son-in-law, Bob Reid of Carpinteria, California; grandchildren, Leslie Rosales of Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Vail of Grand Canyon, Arizona, Lisa Levy of Denver, Colorado, Daniel Levy of Salinas, California, Kaycie D’Auria of Keene, New York and Josh Levy of Denver, Colorado, and 11 great-grandchildren.
