Mary Winkles Lewis, 84, of Dumas, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 4, 2012 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox with Rev. J McGaughy, pastor at Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Mary was born on April 6, 1928 in Clovis, New Mexico to Harvie and Ardie Winkles. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, New Mexico and she was a homemaker. She had served as past president of Pilots International and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lewis.
She is survived by two sons, James Holland and wife Peggy of Texico, NM., Robert Holland and wife Loretta of Texline,Tx.; two daughters, Marilyn Haley of Dumas, Carolyn Cate of Clovis, NM; three sisters; one brother; ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
