Mary Virginia Miller Coffee-July 10, 2012

Mary Virginia Miller Coffee, 99, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 with Barry Loving, Pastor at First Christian Church, officiating. Private burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mary Virginia Miller Coffee was born in Amarillo, Texas on May 12, 1913.
She is survived by her son, John Thomas Sears of Austin, and her daughter, Katy (Mrs. Ron) Klepper of Naperville, Illinois. Grandchildren include Dawn (Mrs. Bryon) Matesi of Phoenix, Matthew Klepper and his wife, Stacy, of Downers Grove, Illinois, David Klepper and his wife, Sophia, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Paul Klepper of Seneca, Kansas, and step-daughters, Sharon Summers of Centennial, Colorado, and Carol Smith, of Amarillo. Great-Grandchildren are Andrew, Matthew, and Ethan Klepper of Downers Grove, Illinois.
Mary had many friends through her long life. She was a member of the Llano Estacado Chapter of the National Society of the DAR, the Happy Timers Sunday School Class of the First Christian Church, and NARFE.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, Marion Brown, her husband, Eldon Coffee, her parents, Patie and Marion Miller, her brother, Herbert, and her sisters, Dorothy Eugenia Miller Makeig and Margaret Ermine Miller Williamson.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Ware Memorial Care Center for the loving care provided. A special thanks is given to Patsy Wright for forty years of love and friendship, and to Mary’s nieces, Martha Davis and Mona Seth, and their husbands, for the love and attention given her especially during the last few years. They made it possible for Mary to live her life with dignity, laughter, and a sense of family love.
