Mrs. Keehn was born on February 10, 1932 in Canadian, TX to Elvis Leroy Killebrew and Mary Margaret McGee Killebrew. She graduated from Amarillo High School. She married William (Bill) Ramsey Keehn on April 10, 1952, and enjoyed 40 years of marriage until his death in 1992. She and Bill were charter members of Kingswood United Methodist Church. Jean was active in every area of church life and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also a lifelong member of the Aldersgate Sunday school class. Bill and Jean had a heart for missions and were ardent supporters of the Four Corners Native American Ministry in Shiprock, New Mexico. In fact, many trips were made from Amarillo to Four Corners in a van loaded with supplies and donated clothing. Jean retired from AT&T after many years of service and spent much of her time pursuing a favorite hobby; genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill; and a sister, Joy Jackson.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Jim Jackson; nieces and nephews, and many friends.
The family suggests memorial donations be to Kingswood United Methodist Church Mission Ministries, 4801 South Austin St., Amarillo, TX 79110-3219.
