Martin C. Cribbs, 76, of Clovis, NM, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2011 at Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be at Palo Duro Cemetery in Wildorado. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Cribbs was born March 15, 1935 in Throckmorton to Luther and Mabel Cribbs. He married Rebha Pinnell on June 22, 1957 in Adrian. He lived and raised his family in Channing where Martin managed the Holt Ranch. He was always there for his family, supporting all their activities. He was a member of the Channing School Board. Mr. Cribbs was a lifetime member of the PRCA and he loved to fish and always caught the biggest fish. He was Cabella’s biggest customer. He and Rebha moved to Clovis in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Billie Pryor.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rebha Cribbs of Clovis, NM; two daughters, Penny Reinart and husband Doug of Canyon and Cathy Cribbs of Hempstead; a son, Bo Cribbs and wife Teresa of Santa Rosa, NM; grandkids, Shank Cribbs and wife Estella and Guy Cribbs, all of Santa Rosa, NM, Brittany Reinart & fiancé Tyler Wright of Lubbock, Dana Reinart of Austin and Chad Reinart of Canyon; two great-grandkids, Andrew Cribbs and Morgan Cribbs, both of Santa Rosa, NM; three brothers, Derl Cribbs and wife Mary of Amarillo, Don Cribbs and wife Lillian of Wildorado, Ronnie Cribbs and wife Carol of Rhome; and sisters, LaQuita Crawford and husband Speck of Bushland, Dorothy Girkin and husband Gene of Ft. Smith, AR, and Olivia Washburn and husband Keith of Bryan.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
