Margarette Marie DeWolfe, 93, of Dumas, died Monday, December 14, 2020.  Graveside Services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 18, 2020 with Damon Akins, pastor at the First Assembly of God, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors at Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Margarette was born on September 5, 1927 in Hominy, Ok. to Fred and Mary Chambers.  She graduated from Bartlesville High School. She married Paul DeWolfe on December 2, 1946 in Hominy, Ok.  She was a homemaker and a preacher’s wife serving in Pampa, Skedee, Watonga, Snyder, Sayre, and Taloga.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Ben Pace; her husband; three brothers, Oscar Chambers and his wife Noma, Charles Chambers and his wife Ruth, Bennie Pace; and a nephew, Tom Blackwell.

She is survived by a son, Vaughn DeWolfe and wife LaNita of Edmond, Ok.; a daughter, Jan Corbin and husband Steve of Dumas; two sisters, Ruth Stockham and husband Tom of Skitook, Ok., and Nadine Blackwell of Barnsdall, Ok.;  seven grandchildren, Anthony DeWolfe and wife Erin, B.J. Corbin and wife Delane, Candace McHann and husband William, Lindsay Corbin, Andra Daniel and husband Andy, Danyce Chapman and husband Kelly, and Ryan Corbin and wife Courtney; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the First Assembly of God, P.O. Box 764, Dumas, Texas 79029.
