  1. Lyla was my wonderful friend and coworker for many years at River Road School. She was always willing to help me , including getting my room ready for the beginning of school after my son, Jonathan was born and helped teach my class. She would always share her snacks with me and help me grade papers and helped with my retirement. She just loved blessing others and helping the kids at River Road and loved her family so very much. I loved seeing what she was making her kids and grandkids at Christmas time. I pray for strength, comfort, and peace for all of the family as you celebrate your mom and grandmother being in Heaven and all the wonderful memories you have.
