Fellers obit photoLucille Fellers, 99, of Amarillo, died Sunday, December 21, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery North Mausoleum with Rev. Kevin Deckard, Associate Pastor at Polk St. United Methodist Church, officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Lucille was born on July 29, 1915 on a farm in Arnett, Ok. to Calvin and Gladys Jacks.  She was a survivor of the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression.  She had attended Draughn’s Business School.  Lucille was in the auxiliary at St. Anthony’s Hospital.  She was a homemaker most of her life and loved to play golf and bridge.  She was a member of Polk St. United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, W.J. Fellers, and two brothers, Clyde Jacks and George Jacks.

She is survived by her son Bill Fellers; a daughter, Nancy Brent; a grandson, Jay Brent and wife Chonda; a granddaughter, Julie Brent; and a great granddaughter, Jordan Brent, all of Amarillo; a niece and several nephews.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Polk St. United Methodist Chruch, 1401 South Polk Street, Amarillo, TX 79101.
