Louise Feldschneider Farris, 86, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at Church of Christ at The Colonies with Dick Marcear, minister, officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in Dumas Cemetery in Dumas, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Farris was born July 31, 1925 in Paris, TX to Walter and Vera Moss. She graduated from Quail High School and later attended West Texas Teaching College in the 1940’s. Mrs. Farris taught at Claude High School. The rest of her teaching career was in Dumas, retiring in 1984. She moved to Amarillo in 1981 and was a member of Church of Christ at The Colonies.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John W. Bevers and Teddy Bevers.
Survivors include a sister, Thelma Shields of Lelia Lake; four daughters, Mary Crump and husband Tim of Canyon, Suzie Neal of Gilla Bend, AZ, Debbie Crain and husband David of Channing, and Kathy Malone and husband Willis of Amarillo; two sons, Lonnie Bevers of Mesa, AZ and Tom Bevers of Farmington, NM; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
