Lois J (Jeannie Lovelace) Wagner – November 22, 2013

Wagner Obit PicLois J (Jeannie Lovelace) Wagner, age 68, went to sleep Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, and woke up in heaven with Jesus holding her hand after a 16 year battle with cancer.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, in Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Chapel with Don Ralston, pastor of New Beginnings Gospel Center officiating.  Burial will be in Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jeannie was born to George David and Doris Mae Lovelace on March 10th 1945 in Perryton, Texas. Jeannie was a 1963 graduate of Groom High School. Jeannie married her husband of 50 years Charles E. Wagner on June 15, 1963 in Canyon, Texas. They had two children, Dena Kaye and David Charles. Jeannie was a wonderful homemaker, partner with her husband for Chapman Dairy Queens for 28 years. They have lived in Canyon, Shamrock, Wheeler, Canadian, Pampa, and Boys Ranch and retired in 2009 and now reside in Amarillo. If you ever met Jeannie, you were her friend, you always got a hug and she would always tell you she loved you.

Jeannie is survived by her husband Charlie of the home; a daughter, Dena Kaye Price and husband Dale of Channing, Texas; a son, David Charles of the home; three grandchildren, Amber Price and boyfriend Josh Brown of Borger Texas, Aaron Price and wife Christine of Canyon, Texas and Scott Price and fiancée Brittany of Amarillo, Texas; One great-grandson, Karter Brown and a great-granddaughter, Brinley Brown both of Borger, Texas; two sisters, Ann Lawson and Susan McMillan, both from Yukon, Oklahoma; a brother, David Lovelace and wife Joanie of Mustang, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, uncle, aunts, cousins, and lots of family and friends.

A big thanks to Dr. Brian Pruitt and staff at Harrington Cancer Center and also a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice for helping Jeannie through the tough battle of cancer, you were all wonderful, loving and caring. And, a special thanks to all of our Prayer Warriors!

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at the funeral home.
