Larry Keith Graf

Larry Keith Graf, 70, of Amarillo, TX died on November 20, 2019.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 23, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Larry was born in Amarillo, TX on January 13, 1949 to Jacob and Virginia Graf. He married LaWanna Cowan in 1967. Larry served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He worked as a guard at Pantex. He loved swimming and enjoyed motorcycles in his younger days. His passions were photography and woodworking. Larry and LaWanna visited all 50 states and the Caribbean where he enjoyed snuba diving in the beautiful clear water. He loved to travel.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Jan Moorman; parents, Jake and Virginia Graf; and grandparents, “Red” and “Mitch” Ballew.

He was a loving husband, of 52 years, to LaWanna, wonderful dad to son, Dan and wife Kathy, daughter, Krista and husband Danny, and son Kevin and wife Christine, and a proud “Pa” to grandchildren, Brianna Graf, Lauren Furman, Sean Furman, Garrett Furman, Cristian Graf, Ryan Graf, Gavin Graf, Logan Graf, Ashley Qualls, Rebecca Pollack, Josh Pollack, and Andrew Pollack. Two brothers, Curtis Graf and wife Faye, and Randy Graf and wife Monte. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful caring nurses that took care of Larry at Vibra Hospital ICU that treated us like part of their family.
