Larell Treadway – November 25, 2011

Larell Treadway, 70, of Amarillo, died Friday, November 25, 2011.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Fellowship North Ministry Center, 5000 Hollywood Rd with Pastor El Cantu officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Larell was born on October 28, 1941 in Levelland, Texas to Vera and Earl Sinks.  She married Dobby Treadway on April 6, 1963 in Albuquerque, NM.  They lived in Fort Ord CA. and Columbus Georgia before moving back to New Mexico.
She volunteered her time at St. Teresa’s school in Grants, NM as a substitute teacher and fundraiser to establish the 7th and 8th grades.  She moved back to Amarillo in 1982 where she was a full-time housewife and mother.  Larell loved children and watched a lot of little ones while their mothers worked.  She was inseparable from her twin sister, Latrell.  They did most of their everyday activities together, and Latrell was her caregiver during her illness, never leaving her side.
Larell was preceded in death by her husband, Dobby, her sister, Joann Clift and her father Earl Sinks.
She is survived by her mother, Vera Sinks.  Her two sons, Shane Treadway and wife Deborah and Robert Treadway.  Two sisters, Latrell Pritchett and Nita Palmer, all of Amarillo.  A brother, Earl Sinks and wife Rita, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  Four grandchildren, Ashley Treadway; Matthew Treadway; Tanner Taylor and Kaitlyn Treadway, all of Amarillo.
The family will be receiving visitors at 1160 Sterling Dr.
