Ladell Bradshaw – August 23, 2011

Ladell Bradshaw, 84, of Amarillo died Tuesday, August 23, 2011.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Scott Davey of Grace Calvary Church officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Bradshaw was born on November 18, 1926 in Naples, Texas to Clarence and Bonnie Brunett.  She married James Bradshaw on September 30, 1944 in New Boston, Texas.  Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile and attended Grace Calvary Church.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Kay Warwick.
Survivors include her husband, James Bradshaw of Amarillo; daughter, Jimi Lanette Ricketts and husband David, and son, James M. Bradshaw, Jr. and wife Vicki, all of Amarillo; sisters, Geneva Hall of Texarkana, Arkansas and Patsy Albritton of Humble, Texas; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mother, we will miss you every day.  Our love is forever, your loving family.

  1. Aunt Dell was a special person. I admired her
    strength, her knowledge, her sincere concern and
    love for her family, not just her own but her extended as well. My family and I loved her very
    much. She WILL BE MISSED. The memories of my Aunt Dell are treasures stored in my heart and mind until that wonderful day we are together again with all of our precious loved ones in sweet Beulah Land.

  3. We will always remember the good times at Nanny and Anla’s in Marshall, Texas. Making hand cranked ice cream on the Patio. All the Kids running wild, the adults playing cards and forty-two until the wee hours. These are memories we will cherish forever. With love to Jim and family and we will love and miss Ladell until we all meet again someday….

  4. Our fondest memories are when all of families got together at Nanny’s & Anla’s house in Marshall Texas..All of the grand kids running around and the adults playing cards and forty-two. Making ice cream in the crank freezer…What wonderful memories we will keep in our hearts forever. We love you Aunt Dell…and we will miss you. Our love and prayers go to Jim and all the family..

  5. Aunt Dell, I will always remember your visits to Nanny’s home in New Boston. You always took time to listen, and you gave so much to put your family first. I will miss you. Our love to Uncle Jim and family.

  6. Words cannot express how much I loved my sister, Ladell, she was so precious to all of us. I will miss her always. God has another angel by his side. I am so sorry that we cannot be there with Jim and all the family. Circumstances beyond our control prevents us from being there, but we are there in heart and soul. Until we meet again sweet sister..
