Kelly Foss – July 17, 2012

Kelly Foss, 81, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, July 17, 2012.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Reverend Kevin Deckard, Associate Pastor at Polk St. United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Claude Cemetery. Masonic Rites are by Palo Duro Lodge #1239.  Military Rites are by D.A.V. Chapter 26. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mr. Foss was born on January 24, 1931 in Calmar, Iowa to Henry and Alice Foss. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Foss was a dispatcher for the Department of Public Safety for ten years, a radio broadcaster for KDJW Radio for five years and for News Channel 7 and he also was Potter County Deputy. He was a member of Polk St. United Methodist Church, 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Panhandle Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and the Khiva Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Foss.
Survivors include a son, Dale Foss of Georgetown; a daughter, Tammy Foss of Amarillo and a daughter, Michelle Lightfoot of Temple.
