Kayci Lynn Leonard, 29, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. Randy Davis of Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Kayci was born July 23, 1991, in Amarillo, TX to Steven and Mitzi Leonard.  She graduated from Amarillo High School in 2009.  Kayci was an LVN at Amarillo Children’s Clinic.

She loved going to the lake, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, children, and attending Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church where she was a member.

She is survived by Justin Hand and their daughter, Joslynn, both of Amarillo, TX; her parents, Steven and Mitzi Leonard, of Amarillo, TX; two brothers, Chad Leonard and wife Ashley, and Blaine Leonard and wife Brianna, all of Amarillo, TX; her grandmother, Missie Shipman, of Amarillo, TX; and two nephews, Bentley Leonard and Paxton Leonard.

  3. Kayci was such a sweet person. She befriended everyone around her and was always joyous. Kayci was always lifting others up and encouraging her friends. I will never forget the incredible amount of support she showed to me and others. She is a true blue friend. I will embrace the memories of late nights making puppy chow, stuffing our faces with tortillas and queso and you dragging me to church when I didn’t want to leave my bed. You definitely earned a spot with God “Kakee”. Rest in Peace sister💛💛💛
