Kay Lynn King, 53, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Lenny McKay officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Kay was born October 24, 1966, in Amarillo, TX to Bobby and Shirley Pickett.  In 1984, she graduated from Amarillo High School.  She married Neal King on June 9, 1990.

For more than twenty years, Kay worked as a CNA.  She took care of everyone and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tim Pickett.

Survivors include her husband, Neal King, of Amarillo, TX; a daughter, Kylie King, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Zaiden and Zaibri Montagudo, both of Amarillo, TX; and two sisters, Karen Clements and husband Stan, of Paige, TX, and Kim Benson and husband Mike, of Amarillo, TX.

  6. Kay brought so much happiness to her family from the minute Shirley & Bobby announced they were expecting! She has so many loved ones who have crossed over, so those angels were there to welcome her. I’m praying that God will wrap Kay’s sisters, husband, daughter and grandkids in his loving arms.
