Karen Sue “Suzy” Joslin went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the 1st day of January, 2019.

Suzy was born the youngest of thirteen children to Edward and Myrtle George on May 9th, 1944 in Savannah, Missouri.  Suzy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She attended cosmetology school in the 1960’s where she worked at various salons in Missouri.  She then went on to manage a small grocery store in Hiawatha, Kansas.  Suzy loved to be with her family, to cook and Christmas was her favorite time where she would deck the house from top to bottom with holiday trinkets.  She just celebrated fifty years of marriage with her husband, Don.

She is now home with all 12 siblings and her mother and father. She is survived by her husband Don, son Chuck, daughter-in-law Bonnie, grandson Zachary, many beloved nieces and nephews including Twila Osbourn, Terri Young and brother-in-law Mark Joslin just to name a few.

Services will be in Missouri at a date to be determined.

The family suggest memorials be made in Suzy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
