Justin Dewayne Owens II, 7, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, May 29, 2020.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Wayne Kniffen officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Justin was born on October 31, 2012 in Amarillo, Texas. He went to Lamar Elementary where he was on the AB honor roll. He loved to play outside, with his brother and sister, as well as his mom and stepdad. He loved Fortnite, firetrucks, wrestling, and the color orange. Justin was inspired to be an astronaut. He had a huge heart and loved to give to other people.
He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Roger White and Rudy Greer.
Justin is survived by his mom, Samantha White and stepdad Nick Nichols; a sister, Lauren Cawthon; a brother, Tyler Cawthon; three aunts, Tabitha Paetzold and husband Cory; Jessica Bray; and Holly Redden and husband Rick; five cousins, Austin, Aspen, Avery, Brayden, and Riley; two grandmas; one great-grandma; and one great-grandpa.
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious son Justin. Our hearts break for you. Many of his favorite things were our grandsons favorite things, like orange, Fortnight, wrestling and such. We can not imagine what you are going through. Praying for Jesus to come and minister to you deeply and give you hope that you will see your treasured son again one day.
