Juanita Reyna Martinez, 87, of Amarillo, died Friday, January 4, 2019.

Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Monsignor Rex Nicholl officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Juanita was born on March 17, 1931 in Victoria, Texas to Antonia and Vidal Reyna. She had worked for BSA in housekeeping for 20 years.  She was a hard worker who loved her job.  Juanita was also very crafty, loved to crochet and do her word searches.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Juanita married Pete Martinez, Jr. on August 28, 1963 in Amarillo.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Martinez, Jr.; five sons, Charlie and Temmie Chambless; Larry, Robin and Peter Martinez; four daughters, Denice, Mary, Vickie and Tina; forty grandchildren; seventy-six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 807 S. Bivins.
