Joanna Darlene Green, 56, of 3608 Lenwood Dr. in Amarillo, TX passed away December 10, 2020.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

She was born March 5, 1964 to Jerry and Patsy Green in Lockney, TX.  She attended Plainview High School until 1983.  She worked as a CNA at BSA Hospice and then at BSA Hospital.

Her biggest accomplishment, in her words, was her daughter Robin Briggs.  She was a selfless person with a huge heart and the caregiver of everyone around her.  She never met a stranger. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life.  She will be forever remembered as a precious soul with a heart of gold.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Joe; and one brother-in-law, Robert Box.

Survived by her daughter, Robin Briggs and husband Shad; two sisters, Pandora Box of Amarillo, TX, and Lona Thompson and husband Rayland, also of Amarillo, TX; a niece, Ashley Box of Amarillo; three nephews, Robert Box and wife Jessica, Randy Box and wife Courtney, and Cody Thompson, all of Amarillo, TX; three great-nieces, Addison Box, Aubriana Box, and Ava Box; and three great-nephews, Kinsler and Kaden Box, and Austin Box.

    My condolences on Joanna’s passing I’m so very sorry. She was an amazing kind and gentle soul full of love. She was so good to everyone. There is a special place in heaven for Joanna. My heart and prayers are with you all during this time.

I know if anyone has wings it’s definitely you, I’m going to miss you so much you were an amazing sister to me and Lona, I wish I could just talk to you one more time, until we reunite again just know I will always love and miss you.💕
